Why do americans love unhealthy food so much? I thought this was a joke, but the link he provided pretty much back his claims that they get fast food for school lunch.

I wish we had fast food for lunch

Is their culture.
>>
Our parents gave it to us when we were children.

We ate sugary cereal for breakfast, then pizza and french fries at school.

We are addicted to unhealthy food, and conditioned to believe it tastes good, and healthier options taste bad.

It's not only in USA that people love unhealthy food, but it's the lack of discipline americans in regards to it that I find mesmerising. I would love to eat pizza and soda drinks and greasy burger every day but I know that would kill me so I don't, meanwhile most americans see unhealthy diet as an unavoidable consequence.
>>
Well, I am fully aware that I shouldn't do it and it's going to kill me, but I find myself unable to stop

In elementary school we got pizza days once a month where they would give each student two slices of pizza and a carton of milk as a special treat. I found out via my cousin that has kid and moved stateside that Americans have pizza lunches instead where they do this everyday or once a week in the "healthier" schools. Sharts are disgusting people that don't understand and don't bother teaching moderation.
>>
Not all schools, some serve healthy food too, vegetables like pizza.

Not anymore, if ever.

But the anon in the image you posted said they served SUBWAY® Footlong™ sandwiches. How is that not healthy?
>>
It's very healthy because they put a tomato on the quadruple cheeseburgers.

Fast food in a public high school? Which utopia is this?
>>

Because vegetables taste bad and fast food is everywhere
