Poles usually like nations that are peaceful and completely not dangerous for Poland, hence Spaniards. Italians have also rather very neutral opinion in Poland - guys who like to have fun and don't like to work too hard.

Are you sure Russians are in the top 5 dislikes in the US these days? Putins approval has gone up to around 80% with republicans just within last year.
