It's eerie, it doesn't feel like a place that actually exists. The people themselves are friendly but overly polite to the point of smothering you. Pyongyang itself feels like a theme park more than anything. Everything is done to give the "appearance" of progress and modernity, not to actually change things for the better. It's not Africa tier, but the country itself feels like it's in a time capsule and hasn't advanced a day past 1953.

We had a real live Korean that knew Hangul very well and that had proof that he was at least Korean. He chatted with the South Korean's a few times in the thread. He posted a picture of his view out his apartment, a picture of his "computer" with a really weird OS, and a bunch of obscure books in Korean.
