The way the teacher says "I am Canadian don't mistake me for an American"is said with a tone of frustration and disgust.

I'd imagine someone would have a similar tone of frustration and disgust when saying "I don't have intellectual disabilities I just have a speech problem".

Because making fun of the strongest is acceptable because they can take it.
