Visit Ravenna, it's close, it's a former capital of the Roman Empire and it has notable Byzantine art, and Theodoric's grave.

I've never been to Bologna in my life but for some reason I'm convinced it's a really nice city. Also San Marino. Urbino might be nice too.

The areas you visit are the last outpost of Eastern Romans (Byzantines) in Italy, that's why it's called "Romagna".
It is also close to Bologna, where the oldest university in Europe is, and where the Codex Iuris Civilis was found and Roman Law was brought back to medieval Europe.
Urbino and San Marino are also Medieval/Renaissance cities.

Frankly, in that area every medium-sized settlement might have a nice castle to see or something. Don't go to Venice, if you want to do a road trip go West and see Florence, or little towns in Tuscany.

Sandy beaches must be overcrowded by Guidos at all times, ESPECIALLY in Rimini. The Eastern sea is like piss.
"Nice wild beaches" are more prevalent on the Western coast.

I've never set foot in any of the places I mentioned. Only hearsay + school.

I would love to see all that places you listed, but there is a small problem I forgot to mention. Im going to Italy from school project (with teachers etc). I dont think that they will let me travel that far from Rimini. Ofc we will go for some trips (Venice and San Marino) but Im afraid that's all.

San Marino is not that far, tho. It is more likely I can go there by myself again. But still, I am not sure I will be allowed.

I guess I will be stuck in italian chad's capital.
