It is. Grammar education is considered relatively unimportant in the anglosphere compared with just memorizing usages because of the way English grammar works. In the UK, students don't even learn grammar formally iirc, and in the US, grammar is usually taught as an aside.
>>71631394
As an addendum, pic is how I learned grammar when I was in middle school (back in 2003 or so), but it's apparently fallen even more out of favor.

I didn't know many of the really hard words, I wonder if I guessed something right.
I did 25000nor so, posting on phone, I can redo the test later on PC to prove it.
Trying the Czech vocab test now and it is totally broken, seems to be word by word translated from English, leading to nonsensical results sometimes. Some words are OK, other are a trainwreck of mistranslation, like the antonym to evil meaning "all right" instead of good.
This can't be trusted. I'm a dumb idiot.

Not dumb. Just lower vocab. I think when people see a comparison to a 10-year-old it isn't going to feel good for them.
But a conversation with you would not be similar to a 10 year old, because a 10-year-old only knows concepts of a child. Adults, even when lacking vocabulary, understand and use more advanced concepts.

It's more an issue of american pop-culture oversaturation rather than actual education. English is basically a constant factor in your life from the day you're born, you become proficient by nature.
if you used google for a single word i hope your mother dies tonight :)
