It's about to happen.
A bit nervous lads.

>>71623775
When the poll comes around for Summer I'll make a thread for it. Hopefully the mods are merciful.
>>71623806
That's a pretty standard strategy.
>>71623775
An idea if the mods nuke threads, which they will do would be to make an ad to link to the poll like what /vr/ do, but that will cost money.
>>71623775
Promote Gondola
That blender is GOAT
>>71623775
Pls no.
I want muh country to be represented in the team.
Well lads, we threw everything we had at /vp/ and came off a little unfortunate. Wouldn't be /int/ if it was otherwise.
Thanks to all the fans, none of this shit would matter without everyone here enjoying it. And thanks to my co-manager and tester, who we wouldn't have done what we have without.
We'll be back in Summer, where we can try and win it all over again.
>>71623674
Poll before the Summer Cup. Not sure when it'll be but it usually lasts about 24 hours on the board so if you browse daily you should see it.
>>71623806
It also meant that we could time it with our tactical changes after the /vp/ goal. After that, our tactics were working well, we were getting good opportunities and /vp/ got away with it a little at the end.
>>71623906
Try and get >Polish intellectuals on there if you can.

>>71624041

>>71624041
/int/ has a curse, we get far enough to have hope and then crash and burn.
I think we were runner ups more than any other team.
>>71624223

>>71623954
>>71623972
>>71624001
Bls no Polan is a tradition player, as someone said. Ripping him of silver was enough humiliating already. He is relaced by Proofs 50% of time anyway.
Take the silver from Leaf and give it to Gondola tho, I agree on that.
Is anybody else still watching? Goal in the first minute from /vr/.
>>71624223
/int/ is the only team that came runner-up in both the babbies and the elites
We are quite literally the worst chokers in the entire cup
>>71624301
not me, i don't have enough bandwidth
it's fun and i wish i could
>missed the game
>come here to find out we lost
god damn it
>>71624297
It'll all be polled, don't worry. Personally I like Polandball and think he deserves to be on the team for what he's done for the team in the past, and I think a lot of /int/ fans think that way too.
>>71624482
It was a close thing, /vp/ got lucky.
>>71624482
What did you expect?
Also, reminder that 4CCSpan exists on Twitter, it gives updates on games.
Polandball out, Easter in
>>71623940
Oh well, at least we're still in the elites
>>71624536

>>71624301

>>71624323
>>71623940
I hope we do man. It isn't fun being the bridesmaid, but I've got enough faith in you to bring the big trophy home. We're on a good foundation m8.
>>71624665
>video game boards
>not following the cup religiously
why? The two boards I'm on are /sp/ and here and everyone is hype mang
Could we take eternal anglo?
>>71624665
most boards hardly even know they have a 4CC team, let alone follow it
To my knowledge the only teams which actually seem to have a real board following are /int/, /mlp/, /pol/, /sp/ and maybe a couple others which I'm forgetting.
>>71624968
There are some others that care. /co/ and /a/ care a bit despite being foetus. Some boards care but are just smaller, like /o/.
>>71624968
/a/ has a big following but the mods over there started cracking down on it pretty hard.
>>71624968
The /vp/ threads are getting better and better since mods stopped deleting them on sight.
>>71625052
>/o/
>implying it wasnt just maydave samefagging himself to oblivion
>>71624958
Nah it belongs on /pol/ tbqh
>>71624968
Mods crack down on a lot of boards. /vg/, /sp/ and /mlp/ are the only boards technically allowed to have a thread.
>>71625052
the part which annoys me a bit is the boards which really do not care or have the slightest clue about their team. For example /adv/, /po/, /s/ (or any porn board for that matter), /b/, etc. It's annoying because, if they potentially win, it's literally just a manager on their end who's happy for the win (a manager who often doesn't even post/lurk on the board he's representing), whereas on the other end is a team with an actual fanbase. I remember this being especially frustrating when we lost in the babby finals against /out/. Absolutely nobody on /out/ seemed to have the slightest fucking clue about what the 4CC even was.
Almost forgot to say, do you guys want to compete in the Tag Team Cup? It's like the 4cc but it's an invitational and two boards join up to make one team with combined memes. implyingrigged.info/wiki/Tag_Team_Cup_3
If we do compete, we'd most likely be going with /sp/ since they asked nicely.
>>71625259
that's shit
imagine if one day we're forbidden of having Eurovision threads because "they technically belong in /tv/"
who the fuck selects these mods anyway
>>71625280
if it's by me, sure
it's not like these virtual players have to train a lot so they have to participate in as many matches as possible, or is it?
>>71625259
Its a good thing that our mod is braindead and pretty much non existant.
>>71625280
/sp/ has pretty good 4cc memes
go 4 it
>>71625280
/int/ and /sp/ are my two teams so that's fine by me
>>71625280
/int/ with /sp/ or /tv/ would be amazing
>>71625280
/sp/ is probably the best board to do it with
>>71625280
Yeah I was posting in their 4cc thread and /sp/ was rooting for us. I don't see anyone else we could partner up with.
>>71625259
that's stupid
If they absolutely want to have a "no-fun-allowed" attitude, the least they could do is, when there's ongoing 4CC matches, put a message across all boards inviting people to follow in the appropriate /vg/ thread (for example), and make the /vg/ thread a rolling sticky. I remember for example they did this several years ago with Eurovision; in the "news" at the top of every 4chan page, they put a link inviting all boards who want to discuss Eurovision to a sticky on /int/.
>>71625280
just dont do it with /s4s/, i hate the autism that started between our boards
>>71625486
I don't understand /s4s/, one of the most unbearable boards on here
>>71625464
Inviting multiple conflicting communities into a single thread tends to end rather badly.
>>71625464
AFAIK only the admins (or Hiro) can do post notices
but yeah a closed sticky with the link should be enough
>>71625577
they asked us for the 4chan ball and we never said no

>being on this low an irony level

>>71625577
I posted there for a few months when it first launched. Basically its a huge IRC circlejerk between the mod and his buttbuddies that get stickied all the time.
Just post like a 10 year old would and everytime someone calls you out for being an autist, reply with something like
>muh irony is too strong 4 u
>>71625609
I agree, which is why it's best to just let each board have their own thread, especially since it's an event opposing different boards. I'm just saying "if they absolutely want to have a no-fun-allowed attitude".

>>71627536
>>71627976
Well, the management team has learnt a lot from watching the cup in 17, and I imagine we'll also learn some more after seeing Spring. We've already got some new ideas for what to do export-wise in Summer so I'd definitely stay positive about the future.
At the very least we didn't go down easy like [s4s] and /m/ did, nothing's worse than a blowout.
