does your country have large lot rural residential suburban areas, where it's within an urban area and has a standard street configuration but the lots are 1 and 2 acres instead of say a quarter of an acre or less? (pic related)

are they common? would you want large lot suburban subdivisions to become more or less common?
>>
>>71614011
yes it does and we hate them. Suburbs are dying in America, nobody wants to live in one.
>>
>>71614011
I'd like to live there. How likely am I to be fucked/eaten/poisoned by wildlife?
>>
>>71614955
It would be very unlikely. The most dangerous things you would find would be spiders, but even then it's unlikely one would harm you.

>>71614815
I have heard suburbs are back in America and doing better than ever.
>>
>>71614011
What is this? You have too much space or something?

Large lots here are farms. Or for very rich people but there is no standard configuration for that. In the last years, I guess, gardens have become smaller and smaller since land has more and more value.
>>
>>71614011
This is the last layer of civilization before you reach ranches and farm land. It's possible to actually own small farm animals like goats and chickens and fire a gun without anyone caring. Best of all, you get to own seated mowers and get shitfaced whilst mowing your lawn.

>>71615707
You can never have too much space.

>>71616045
Yep, very true.
>>
>>71616554
From a ressouce use point of view it's madness and know that. Anglos are so fucking retarded with their economy and shitting on the planet.
>>
>>71616673
I wouldn't call it madness. I would call it madness to have small lots in a country as vast as Australia.

Australia is one of the least densely populated nations on earth.
>>
>>71616746
so what you do with the land? Keep the grass short and what else? Where is the use? You still need a lot of gas to get anywhere because anything is so far apart, public transport is unthinkable. Infrastructure is spread out and expensive. Where I live I can walk to get my groceries.

You can do a lot of things.

>Have many pets and animals
>Play sports with the kids and friends
>Plant fruit trees and have large vegetable gardens
>Raise chickens and some other animals
>Let your girls have a pony or two and keep it in the yard

Realistically, all housing lots should be a minimum of a couple of acres to enable all families to do these things.
>>
>>71617165
you know this is not possible for 7 Billion people. And it's not even possible for most Brisbanians. This is not what society wants from urban planning.
>>
>>71617165
That wouldn't be good for corporate capitalism goy
>>
>>71614815
why?
>>
>>71617239
It doesn't have to be possible for all 7 billion people on earth. Shitskins will live in terrible, miserable conditions, and they deserve to.

Australians however can easily all live in such conditions. There is no shortage of any resource here, especially not land.

Come and get a piece of the action. Germany is over crowded. Australia is the land of the real master race.

>>71617291
And that is why (((they))) try their best to stop it.
>>
>>71617239
Literally every person in the world could go to the Isle of Wight and there would be room for everyone to stand side by side. I'm pretty sure there'd be enough room for every family in the world to have an acre to themselves.

There's usually absolutely nothing once you're far enough from cities/towns.

There are some estancias though.
>>
>>71617364
Sounds like a socialist utopia I would try.

>>71617349
Isn't Australia too hot? What about water? You are also so far away from anything else.

Why don't more Australians live on the big lots?
>>
>>71617701
Australia has plenty of water. It's not too hot unless you're a pussy.

>Why don't more Australians live on the big lots?

Because Jews and anti-Australians try and prevent it.

In areas that these people have influenced less, lots are larger. For example, the NSW Mid North Coast, north of Brisbane (like the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, etc).
>>
>>71617550
I always wondered why in places in Brazil like Sao Paulo were so dense. Why build skyscrapers instead of detached homes on all the land available? It doesn't make sense to me. I think Argentina has a similar sort of thing.
>>
>>71617867
So what do you work then? It's not like there are Office Buildings around the corner...
>>
>>71618023
You drive to work. The Samford Valley streetview picture I posted earlier is only 20 minutes drive from Brisbane's CBD, which is filled with office buildings and jobs of all types.
>>
>>71618126
Ok where can I apply?

Just kidding, I'm a coward and would probably get homesick or the sun would fry my brain. I also don't have the anglo mentality.
>>
>>71617239
>this is not possible for 7 Billion people
Are you a flat worlder? You could put the entire world in texas(excluding desert) and everyone would have an hectare to live in
>>
>>71618238
why do I even have to discuss this? How much is water? How much is mountainous, how much is desert? How much is ice? How much is fertile land, where a family can live off an acre?

And your calculation is wrong

The space of Texas = 695621 km2 / 7.000.000.000 = 0.00009937443 km2 = 0.009937443 ha = ~10 m2 per Person
>>
>>71617701
It might be possible on paper but not really practical. Apparently all landmass equals 5 acres per person. Minus all the deserts and shit that comes down significantly. I would like to see more places like in the OP though for people who want to live like that and don't care for the attractions of big urban areas.
>>
>>71618651
Indeed I fucked up and entered the are for the entire planet excluding parts where you can't live in(50% of it) which gave me a crap result(that still puts everyone in an hectare)

I must be a nonwhite
>>
I believe this is called suburban sprawl here, and it's ugly. Nobody wants a bunch of middle classers holding onto a pasture-sized yard when they aren't actually pasturing anything.
>>
>>71615539
not really. They are growing but are now associated with poverty, crime, and minorities.

It is a reversal of past. White people left cities and lived in nice suburbs whereas inner cities were associated with crime, poverty, ect.

Now trend is reversed. Rich white people move into city, and the displaced former city people move to suburbs.

>>71617318
they are boring. There is nothing to do in them, and you need to drive anywhere to do anything. Want to get some food or beer, 15 minute drive. No resturants or culture, and neighbors dont really know each other. You just end up isolated in your house by yourself. Sure maybe it is a nice house, but what is point? Going on 4chan in giant empty house is not much better than going onto 4chan in small city apartment, but in city apartment if you ever want to get off 4chan you just walk outside and there are things to do. In suburb you walk outside and there is nothing.
>>
>>71621941

Problem is you need to be a millionaire to live in the downtown of most major cities. Most people are living in the 'burbs because they can't afford the city.
>>
>>71622014
depends on the city.

There is usually cheap housing in cities. I live in an expensive city, and live in a mixed area. A few blocks away there is gangs and drug dealing, still better than any suburb/
>>
>>71622175
There is really nothing in the city that I can't do elsewhere. I'm not into bars or clubs or pro sporting events. Basically I would be just chilling in my shoe box apartment most of the day. No difference between that and a house in the burbs
>>
>>71622324
there is more than bars and clubs. There are parks, museums, shops, and just things to see walking. Every short walk is awesome since the architecture is beautiful and there are lots of people out.

Even if you are a complete shut in, suburbs offer nothing. Lets say you just fuck around on the internet, watch movies, listen to music. play video games, read, etc. You dont need a giant house for that, in fact cleaning the house is a pain. So suburbs still offer nothing, but atleast in the city you have options if you want them.

You are also forgetting friends. Even autistic neckbeards of 4chan can find someone to hang out with in a city, or a girl who will fuck them. In suburbs forget about it.
>>
>>71622527

Well I am basically a complete shut in (30 y/o KV) with no friends. If I lived in a downtown area of a big city my living costs would be double or triple to do EXACTLY the same things I'm doing now. But I digress, I am not the typical person.
>>
>>71622728
more likely you are a shut in because you live in a suburb.

People that grow up in cities rarely become shut ins because they learn how to be alpha and awesome at a young age. Their life is full of adventure and fun. It is depirved suburban kids like who grow up isolated and then >>71622527
become shut ins.

1) You dont need to live right downtown. I live like 2-3 miles from downtown. In many cities downtown isnt even the coolest part. It is just where you go for work. Where I live downtown is for work. Yeah it is cool but I would rarely go there on a weekend. There is stuff all over the city.

If you lived in a city you would probably just get out more. You would probably make friends, and get a girlfriend. You would start to care about life and the world, and go to the gym. Maybe learn some good skills and get an awesome job.

I am telling you I was like you too, once. There is a reason cities are better, you can do better. Cities cure autism. Suburbs make it worse.
>>
I have no idea what you mean. Our entire country has a good infrastructure. And you have more land the further away you are from the popular cities.
