I can't help but always think they should be proud as fuck for forcing everybody who wants to be relevant ever in the world to speak their language

Last Summer I went to Cornwall and Devon and it was pleasant. I find the rural folk to be a lot kinder than the city folk, but that's generally true just about everywhere.
For Britain as a whole I have the most experience with Scotland since I visit my grandparents who live there every winter. The only complaint I have is that on one occasion my plane had to land in Glasgow because of weather.

Most people in the UK see the north east as a completely irrelevant shithole. Newcastle is known as an ok (if chavvy) party city, but some of the surrounding towns and cities (Sunderland, Middlesborough, etc) are some of the poorest in the UK. That said, rural Northumberland is very comfy, and I'm sure the area has lots of hidden gems that are probably best staying hidden.

as an ethnic Pakistani engineer working here, i can say its comfortable, the people i know are friendly and we get along fine.

i like to think the people here are very polite, welcoming, intelligent and respectful towards others. so i imitate their behavior to fit in better, i don't know but there is a word for it, i keep forgetting.

for example, i noticed many native people here voting for Brexit saying they wanted sovereignty, so i voted to leave EU aswell, when in rome do as the romans do.

However, i do notice there are those who genuinely cannot be swayed to being more accepting of other races. these people tend to not be the nicest or the smartest in every sense and i think they make the country look bad to the outside world, which is a great injustice since this country is lovely.

for example if we need more doctors or teachers, we should allow in a few to improve the education/healthcare system.

but no benefit claimers etc. those people should be kicked out, those and illegal immigrants. its part of the reason i voted brexit desu, i dont want more economic migrants, it makes things shittier for everyone.
