I don't plan on it. I hate anything talking about "national unity" (same goes for De Lequen) when there is nothing non-arbitrary that unites France in the first place. Bayrou had a sensible stance on regional cultures but he has been a meme for a decade now (and is too PC anyways).

I'm too young to really know him, when he was active I was still being indoctrinated by high school about how evil the Front National is. That being said I respect how he was in more for his ideas compared to power than his daughter. I absolutely liked Lorraine region when I visited there. Fantastic food and white wines. The place in a local bar or restaurant to ask for a gentleman's picnic basket for one. To simply vanish there.
