Same shit all around Poland, we're not a federation.
Hell if I remember correctly some regions of Germany adopted the same paintjob. Ridiculous.
>>71507146
If you paint the stripes green it looks German.
>>71507227
Germany is a federation, each state has it's own state police.
The green cars you're talking about are Bavarian State Police.
Pic related what I meant

They have nice cars, Cowboy and MGS tier contractors along with the criminals being very well armed it's almost like a movie.
Santa Catarina
>>71512167
haha I think it's more of a show piece.
they usually use fords/volvos/bmw/skoda etc. quite often unmarked, and usually tuned/more powerful than the production models.
those argie vehicles look proper paramilitary/scary

We also use these, along with the Taurus, Tahoe, and a few Crown Victorias that haven't been retired yet.
>>71507146
You're not only stealing our civil cars, but police cars too?
>>71513194
Comfy.
>>71512864
>contractors
?
Do any other cunts have police departments who auction off vehicles to the public at the end of their service lives?
>>71513666
Yes Satan.
I think about going on those auctions, they started to become popular here since the cars comes out cheap as fuck. Some guys been buying sports and superbikes for dirt cheap.
>>71513666
yeah, thing is you know it'll have been serviced well, but you also know it'll have been ragged to fuck
>>71513932
Not always, you can luck out and get something that was used by a detective, sheriff, or some other higher-up
The Crown Vic's over here come with idle timers, so you get an extra metric to see whether or not the car spent all of its time outside the donut shop, or whether it was idling at the side of the road and suddenly at wide open throttle to catch speeders with nothing in between
That being said, unless you notice certain clues, it's still a gamble

>>71514234
So most US police cars are modified?
>>71515540
Usually not by the department themselves, no matter how much you might hear someone bullshit about a "cop chip"
I only know this for Crown Vics, but the only things the police package had over the civilian models are a more heavy duty suspension, an air intake that only adds 11 HP, and the aforementioned idle timer, as well as a few minor adjustments to the programming of the transmission and an additional transmission cooler. Some of these features were available on certain civilian packages anyway
>>71515813
>an air intake that only adds 11 HP, and the aforementioned idle timer, as well as a few minor adjustments to the programming of the transmission and an additional transmission cooler.
I remember people saying the same about the Blazers here, never checked out tho and i guess the new ones are just the same as civilians,
>>71515813
>>71515850
over here it's often the larger petrol engine models with uprated intake, suspension etc. for the pursuit cars, but a lot of remapped, uprated diesels about too.
do the police auction seized property over there?
>>71516019
>do the police auction seized property over there?
Yep. You can find some nice shit on it.
I remember when a guy found a classic Ferrari Daytona on those auctions, i think the previous owner didn't paid some taxes or some shit and he never went back for the car.
