"La felicidad humana generalmente no se logra con grandes golpes de suerte, que pueden ocurrir pocas veces, sino con pequeñas cosas que ocurren todos los días. Tómate tiempo en escoger un amigo, pero sé más lento aún en cambiarlo. Dime y lo olvido, enséñame y lo recuerdo, involúcrame y lo aprendo."
Too hard for you?

Alright, I tried to write something that I thought would be pronounced pretty differently between Americans, Brits and Aussies, and of course non-native speakers. Given how they pronounce certain words in this we may be able to get a clue on where they're picking up their English skills.
Feel free to use it if you want to read something awkward.
>I went out to the garage to grab some aluminum foil and a water. When I checked my mobile phone and realized I was late. I followed my route to a gourmet meal a couple kilometers away. Fish fillet, tomatoes and herbs, and for dessert a salted caramel and coffee.

Wow, it sounds so different. The only word I would have trouble actually understanding, if I didn't already know what you were saying, was "checked."

The Spanish or my voice? Or maybe you mean both.

>Here, take a guess.
An american faking an accent. And instead of garage you said garbage.
>>71485932
>And instead of garage you said garbage.
Whoops.
I want to say you're right, but I do devolve into the fake accent if I'm not conscious of my voice: or so I've been told. I haven't lived in the US my whole life.

How do you improve reading out loud? Just practice? I've always been terrible at it.
>>71484704
it would help if this wasn't retardedly written
>>71486463
If you wanted to rephrase but keep the same words it would remain as useful. Obviously the words I wanted to include were
>garage
>aluminum
>water
>checked
>mobile
>realized
>route
>gourmet
>kilometer
>fillet
>tomato
>herb
>caramel
>coffee
These are all words that tend to see some differences regionally, between our nations and non-native speakers sometimes used funny things with them.
I could have just done a list of words, but I think providing some context, even if bad, might be useful.
>>71486409
>Just practice?
pretty much.

I sang. I did it in Russian.
>>71486911
What's the song? Sounds cute.

It's a song from a Russian cartoon, sung by an accordion-playing crocodile who is sad that birthdays only come once a year.
>>71486953
Thank you. The videos quite cute too. Russian music has a certain charm to it.
Your singing of the song was quite nice too.
>>71487040
Thanks. I've actually not been singing much in Russian lately. Some friends and I are busy putting together a set of classic Italian swing/jazz to perform at restaurants and the like, so I've been singing in Italian.
>>71487076
I was wondering if you sang more often since you sound comfortable doing it.
>>71487109
Haha, yeah, I've been a musician most of my life (though I only started singing seriously a couple years ago or so).
