North & South Holland are a mixed bag. On the one hand it's the best and most relevant part of the country, with the biggest cities, most activities, best economy, best history, but on the other hand it's also the shittiest part of the country regarding sandnigs, crime, pollution, housing prices, etc.
I'd say Utrecht is the best place to live and still be close to the relevant part of the country.
