Happened all the time. We also had another similar game called "Rummel & Rabalder", was pretty decent. I could never understand how those kids who called in could be so bad at those games.

I played this as a kid. Went to the studio, met the presenter and they made me go to a small room with a phone and tv from where i played lol. Came 3rd out of 4 :( they still game me lots of presents.
