Is there a better way to do this than with google street view? I think Youtube has a lot of potential for exploring, but I dunno what to type in. Sometimes bike/rail tours work for big cities.
What works for you?

You just type in cities and look at pictures? I suppose it's pretty, but it doesn't capture the life of the region well.

how about "[X place] in [X] minutes"?

panoramio was cool too, but i heard they're gonna shut it down or move it to google maps

Kind of interesting

Neat concept. It's kind of uncomfortable hearing some older French man saying "Come closer...Just a little" in my ear, and the graffiti is kind of boring, but the UI and ambience is cool.

heh, considering there's no Jewgle Street View here you better be satisfied with these videos
btw the vibrations happen because our streets are full of holes and loose stones and shit

It actually looks kinda comfy. Apparently there's traffic problems, but apart from that it looks pleasant.

I've heard it's been like that for a very long time. In The Count of Monte Cristo it's even described as kind of a dump compared to other French cities.
