It's great if you are rich. You can buy whatever you want, do whatever you want. You own the country. It's okay if you are poor as long as you don't die of starvation. Since almost everyone else is poor you don't really care about being poor and enjoy life.

The problem is if you are middle class. You don't have enough money to do whatever you want, but you are not poor enough to not care.
