Lol metric system is being slowly but sistematically introduced to american schools and teenagers.
Americucks
I know everybody agrees the metric system is the superiour system, but why do we use or silly calendar? Seven days in a week, four and a half weeks in a month, twelve months that aren't even equally long... Why don't we have thirteen months of 28 days (plus february 29th)?

They've been trying for decades and decades. Our system is a weird mix like many other countries, just with less metric. Any kid in school learns and uses metric in all their science classes and is tested on knowledge of the system, memorizing prefixes conversion rates and the like. Americans are able to use the system but are not necessarily conversant in it. Similar to measuring weight with stone in the UK or imperial unites throughout many sectors of the Canadian economy

Bullshit, it's a gradual change and you don't even notice them that clearly in some parts of the world.

Well if modern liturgical and commercial calendars had developed in the subtropics then maybe you'd have your 28 day weeks
>his military, space agency and any other agency of importance all use metric
USA will always use empyrial for some things because they've become industry standard there.
