There's a lot of factors at play here.
1. Watching on a TV is better than a computer. Screen's bigger and you can lie down on a couch instead of your desk chair.
2. A computer with access to the internet is more distracting. Between episodes you'll be tempted to check your e-mails or flick through 4chan real quick and not finish for hours.
3. You know what you're getting when you watch online. On TV you just sit back and let the network do the thinking for you.
4. When you can choose what to watch you tend not to stray from your comfort zone. Even though you can easily change the channel on TV oftentimes you become too lazy to do so/ don't want to spend 5 minutes flicking through the guide when you know there's probably nothing on at this hour anyways.

There's probably more reasons but that's all I can think of at the moment.

I'd strongly suspect that SF have planted shills across the major political community sites (boards.ie, r/ireland, thejournal, politics.ie)
They overperform in polls on those sites drastically and have done for years relative to their actual performance in elections. Given how they were ahead of the curve for political parties in this country for having an internet strategy and getting involved in social media it wouldn't surprise me if they were working to influence behaviours in those places as well. Either that or all major Irish communities have a bizarre and disproportionate love for SF.

That was the only aspect Blindboy spoke about, I don't think he was doing it to soften up the audience for a bit of abortion banter. Most of what he speaks about is centered around concerns of young men specifically. Feminism is just a principle of gender equality after all, I wouldn't demonise the term because you disagree with some or even many of the interpretations of how gender equality should manifest. Unless you're stubborn to change there's a lot of benefit for everyone in equal rights and treatment.

Both the French populace and establishment love the EU for a variety of reasons. There is no way they will vote to leave if a referendum is held - the proportion of French citizens unhappy with the EU is being blown completely out of proportion by the media. What is true is that many French people are unhappy with certain elements of EU policy, but most lack that perception of being screwed over by the EU that fueled the Brexit vote. What also helps is that France's Eurosceptic parties aren't as anti-EU as the likes of UKIP.

i love the accordion, but with trad it's honestly my least favourite instrument.
i guess it's cos it's so popular in switzerland. maybe i assosiate it with more mainland european styles of music and it sounds "off" when irish music is played on it.

Everything "Scottish" is a ripoff of Irish culture. The English try to attribute to them in order to co-opt Gaelicness to their Protestant agenda and to denigrate us.

Literally all they did to "make" the kilt was shorten the léine and dye it with their local patterns, in the period after they'd stopped being anything but a colony of England.
