I thought Newfoundland was part of the maritimes?
>>71128051
Culturally very similar but not technically a part of the Maritimes, it, along with the Maritimes, are collectively known as Atlantic Canada.
Newfoundland didn't join Canada until 1949, by which time the Maritime Provinces were already established. Had Newfoundland joined earlier it would be a Maritime Province.
Most western Canadians do lump it in with the Maritimes though.

Youre wrong about the territories. at least Yukon. The Yukon has some of the best scenery in Canada, as well as some really cool towns that havent changed since the turn of the 20th century, ike Dawson City. Real gold rush frontier culture up there.

Not big enough

Living space?
>>71134831
Scenery is nice but no one wants to deal with Indians and abject boredom. If you want old towns that haven't changed much in a century Newfoundland and the Maritimes are much better.
