That highly depends on the quality. You can get extremely cheap aldi-tier that will taste like shit, but the most common ones to get shitfaced (Jupiler and Stella) are about €1,80/liter
The good ones from the abbeys in general are about €3-4/liter, maybe a bit more

Shit cost me $9.50 a 6 pack. It's a bit stronger than pisswater but it'll still take me 16 or so beers to get happy drunk for a whole night. I switched it up though and got a 12 rack of Guinness extra stout. So it was only like $22.

Also while we're on the subject of beer, I was in Japan recently and nearly 100% of their beer I'd rather just throw off my balcony instead of drinking it.

That being said, they do have mid-shelf mass-produced """Craft"""" beer. Japan basically has 2 drink companies that supply everything (think Pepsi and Coca Cola). One of them is Suntory so I suppose they can afford to make their decent beer a little cheaper.

In my escapes through the country I sort of realized that everything has an Umami taste to it, it's just in the Japanese pallet, they're accostomed to it, they grew up with it, they love that taste. However, to a westerner a little can go a long way and at times is just downright weird. Nearly all of their beers are exclusively heavy in Umami flavor, which is why it was so weird and different to me. I didn't like it personally - at all. But to each his own I suppose if chinks want it then fuck it.

All in all Japanese beer is expensive, and shit. But if you want to spend $2.20 a beer you can get some drinkable western-style flavor like this. Did they brew it themselves or outsource white people? Take a guess. But it wasn't that bad, blows our Nation's shitshow of a beer Budweiser out of the water.

More or less anything by Sam Adams is definitely passable. And not that expensive either.

Just Sam Adams, Yeunling is a bit cheaper and good as well, a little memey but alright.

Outside of that you can go to any decent-sized liqour store and you'll have dozens upon dozens upon dozens of craft beers to choose from. From rarer stuff like barley-wines to silly memes like dessert beers with creamy overtones.

You also can't go wrong with Sierra Nevada.
