eunuchs are really the go to black sheep since some have access to all the parts of the palace and they readily spread information among each other since they live close to each other and have their own rank and system

but at near the end of the han dynasty some specific ennuchs had a lot of personal power and family power

cao cao's grandfather was one such example though he retired the courtly life

The Eunuchs were the palace servants. Originally castrated to take away any danger they posed to either the imperial men (potential rebellion) or women (impregnating). This was where their power lay - in their access to the imperial family. This access, by the Qing, when officials were even more separated from the Emperor than earlier dynasties, was unparalelled. A clever Eunuch could control all access to the emperor, and so could sculpt the emperor's understanding of the outside world. They were publicly despised (at least by the literate) due to their achieving of power and influence not by their own merit. Scholar-officials spent half their lives (some most of their lives) studying and governing in order to reach the capital and serve the state in the highest office. Then they get there and the Eunuchs--who have been trained to a certain degree, and by the Qing, were literate--are in control of the highest apparatus of the government. This must have been galling to a lifetime scholar who took the welfare of the people as his highest responsibility.
Nonetheless, there were good eunuchs and bad officials.

No, we're mostly on our fourth generation and beyond now. Most of the Chinese here came from Guangdong and Fujian during the Qing dynasty since the British Empire needed labourers for the mines and plantations, at one point in the mid 20th century 40% of the population was Chinese, but it's now down to about 23% because the Malays breed faster.

I've put Toki Pona in brackets because it's a meme conlanguage. I speak that and English fluently. I am conversational in Spanish and rarely dedicate actual time to studying it.
Croatian probably gets the bulk of my study time, and I'm sorta "half"-conversational at the moment in that.
My Japanese is okay, still needs more work to build up vocab.
Vietnamese is basic, started it not long ago. It seems super easy, I just haven't dedicated the time I need to it.
