why do poles add an "-a" to names ?

why do frogs always forget to pronounce the -ent at the end of verbs? are they just retarded?

Over here, some surnames start with the suffix Mc which is a shortned version of "mac" our word for son

for example the name McMahon would son of mahon, similar to Icelandic surnames

of course, you wouldn't call a woman Mc so women's names begin with the suffix Ní short for iníon uí (daughter of)

for example the famous news caster Sharon Ní Bheolain which I think in english would be "Boland"
