Women have 2 fluctuating, competing, simultaneous desires to be called girls (associated with beauty and vitality, but carelessness and helplessness) and women (associated with responsibility and capability, but also aging appearance and weakened constitution). These two identities exclude each other yet women want the benefits of both.
Being called female removes all these good associations (also the bad associations, but women don't want to acknowledge the bad in the first place) and women hate that.
I hate how male is embedded within female, as if we can't exist independently from them
Same with man being rooted in woman it's really aggravating.
I prefer "feminine person" myself, and bonus it doesn't come packaged with presumptive linkages to physical sex

on reddit they get butthurt if you use the word ''female'' and start calling you a virgin and shit

You need to use “person-first language,” that puts “person” before any identifier in order to emphasize the humanity. Correct term would be "Person of femininity with feminine vagina".
Why american use gender instead of sex on personal bio?
