Only if you are already dependent on government assistance. Otherwise the cost for health care has jumped considerably. Also if you can't afford the Obamacare and you don't buy it you get fined which can be as much if not more than the monthly cost, so some people get fucked either way.

All last month all I did was see how you can get Obamacare for as little at $40/month. Go to the website and realize, no, no I can't because I'm not a piece of shit on every other assistance program.

Play $140 a month or $380.... I'll stick with my employers lower cost and better coverage.

It's a perception thing. If you and your family are healthy the idea of serious illness doesn't come to mind. You feel secure that being healthy will make you stay healthy, up until you aren't.
Things like identity theft "feel" more likely because it's easy to imagine that someone, somewhere, is a thieving bastard. Personal circumstances don't enter into it.
