Globalism is completely irrelevant to it. At most some later ideologues envisioned a world where every country was communist and thus there would be no nation-state.

Actuality if you read Lenin he predicted that capitalism naturally wants globalism and to end the nation state through it's profit incentives. Borders are just an inconvenience to businesses, and they hate differing laws and tariffs.

Lenin was wrong on many things but in that he was right. For most of the 20th century communist guerillas were about fighting this globalism as they saw it as leading to imperialism by the 1st world in their countries.

I can't help but feel bad for the rural whites that voted for Trump to get back "le globalists". Trump isn't doing anything about whites becoming a minority, deporting all the illegals won't make us very much whiter. If he actually does something to criminalize abortion, it'll undo the gains the white % of the population made in a few decades. I thought so prior to this election but seeing Trump do better with all minority groups than the previous two republican candidates has put doubts into my head. All the things he's doing are things he said he'd do during the campaign and he still got those votes.

Liberal blacks stayed home a lot more this election because Hillary wasn't very convincing. Conservative blacks probably turned out at the same rate they did last election because conservative voter turnout is normally higher. The low voter turnout this election in general means that more people of every demographic hated Trump, Trump got less votes than Romney iirc.
