Gentle layer of milk, it's better to have it stronger than weaker because that's where the taste is - like a rare steak

Use a tea pot if you have one, but I'm assuming you don't, so

Boil water in kettle
Pour a small amount of the water into a mug and use this to heat up the mug. While you're doing this reboil the kettle
Remove water and place tea bag into mug
Pour water from kettle onto tea bag as soon as it has boiled. You want the water to be as close to boiling point as possible
Pour a bit of milk in
Give it a mix and leave to stew for a bit
Take out the tea bag, squeezing it is optional for standard tea and depends on how strong you want it
No sugar

Put the ceramic tea strainer into the teapot.
Pour boiling water on the tea leaves.
Wait a couple of minutes; leave longer for a stronger tea.
