People even on this board seem to forget how big the usa is. It is only about 3% smaller than europe and has significantly more geographic diversity. It is similar to making a generalization of any European country in relation to the whole of europe.

The south is where most of the Hispanic and black people are. And in many of the states in the 80-90% white range, almost all of their minority population lives in a select few larger cities.

In terms of the white trash rednecks, that's the massive amount of rural areas. If you live away from the extremely rural areas there are no rednecks. Keep in mind the population density of the USA is 33 per sqkm and germany is at 229.

Especially coming from Germany I think many states would be very enjoyable to live in like Minnesota ,Wisconsin, Vermont and other parts of the North East, the Pacific Northwest etc etc
