Here it depends on the duty I think. Normal cops just wear a handgun and baton.
Guarding cops wear a submachine gun.
SWAT teams carry everything (submachine gun, shield, taser, handgun, shotgun, doggo etc).

Military police is almost always on guard duty, but they can carry assault rifles as well.
