I have been to all the countries and i'm from a part of chile where Butcheries areopen at 7 AM, before the bakeries open, so i'm not afilthy santiaguino that only eats meat when the national team is playing. I go to argentina 3-4 times a year to visit family or just for the weekend

America.

BBQ is not the same as grilling or swords.

Brazil is fine but its not top tier.

Pork = murrika, by far, no country comes close to their preparations
Lamb, goat = Argentina, it's not even a contest, the best in the world
Beef = Depends, if you like rare it's southern chile, if you don't it's Uruguay with Argentina pretty close. IMO Uruguayans are the best, but it's mostly personal choice.

Brazil has great meat, but the use of swords in everything including sausages is just retarded, i get it it looks cooler. but SUCKS on smaller cuts.
Now whohas the best sausages?

In my opinion southern Argentina. Pork sausages in BA and Montevideo are meh.

But it doesn't stop there, sometimes it's not about the quality of the meat but the one who cooks it and we also happen to be the best at that.

South Amrican steak houses (Argentine, Brazilian, Uruguayan) have become something of a novelty here. The difference with our traditional ones is they charge more for overcooked or ridiculously uneven (chared outside/rare inside) non traditional cuts which tend to be hard/fibrous, greasy or just plain weird (what's with the connective tissue on vacio?) really the best thing about them is the sides, the empanadas and chorizos, but they're not worth it ultimately getting inferior meat.

Our traditional steakhouses other than having a few originals like Arrachera are basically a mix of American and French, I personally lean toward the latter (I'm a big fan of tenderloin) but on the issue of who's better in the Americas the US wins by far, they can cook a steak right and it's choice meat not the parts around it as South Americans get creative because of their export industry.

I'll have a T-bone or a Sirloin over a bife anyday.

>And why is it Brazil?
I think both Rio Grande do Sul and Uruguay make good churrascos (or "fogo-de-chão" as we call it), but that might be from my own bias. Colombian and Australian steak are also equally as good, from my own experience. Most people believe there's a secret sauce or cooking method, but the real technique is actually on how you kill the animal. If you kill the animal right after the hunt it will have adrenaline and bunch of other chemicals in its bloodstream that will roughen up the meat and make it rubbery. You must wait a couple hours until the animal has calmed down before you can kill it swiftly by the throat (degola).

The cooking technique was inherited by Charruás and Minuanos. Nothing too difficult to learn.

>>70392629
>We should be, but britbongs did their shit and invented Uruguay to weaken Argentina and Brasil.
You have no idea what you're talking about, I wouldn't even call you an Uruguayan. Do you even who Manuel de Rosas was and what he attempt to do? He tried to conquer Uruguay and territories from the Empire of Brazil (today Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina) to unify Banda Oriental under his regime. Britain has literally nothing to do with it.

That meat looks extremely dry and poorly cooked. It was clearly cooked directly above live fire, which is a very amateurish "cooking" method. Should've put some milk on it before cooking and kept some distance from the live fire.

It's the heatwave that's supposed to cook it, not the fire itself, otherwise it will burn the outer layer and keep the center raw, which is exactly what they did there.

>I couldn't find an official list but all the ones I found don't have RJ at the top.
Yeah, because the one I posted is a lie amirite? It also happens to be newer than yours.
>Numbeo has RJ as the highest cost of living so thanks for proving it I guess
It also shows Rio with a higher average salary, but I bet you didn't see it.

Why we have this thread every week if the answer is always the same, Argentina have the best meat in the world there is no place for discuss.

I don't believe you are an idiot. Ido believe you jumped into conclusions, a very dumb ones. That meat isnt done in the same way as an asado, is not grilled either. It's smoked. That's why it looks so dark

It's funny how the map explain the political situation of the Malvinas but not the problem of guyana and venezuela

It doesn't matter if it's newer when even the previous year is inconsistent with pretty much any other source I've seen.

I couldn't find a way to compare salaries from several cities at the same time in Numbeo but all of the ones I tried had higher purchasing power than RJ.
Also Numbeo uses user submitted data so it's essentially worthless, I somewhat doubt your 22% favela population bothers to input data there.

Europoor delusions.

>Uruguay is now the only country in the world with a completely computerised traceability system - meaning consumers at home and abroad know exactly where their beef comes from and how it was raised.

>I watch as, just days after being born, some 20 small Hereford-Angus crossbred cattle are herded though a small wooden gate.

>Roque leans over the top of the pen and "staples" two plastic tags to the calves - one in each ear. One is a purely visual number tag, the other contains a readable chip, which contains all manner of information about the animal, its age and its provenance.

Brazil and Argentina are definitely the top contenders, at that point its just a matter of preference between the two.

Nope. While it's true that we sell most of our god tier meat we still get to keep a lot of it, you just need to wake up early go to your neighborhood's butcher shop and ask him to save it to you tomorrow's/next week's good batch.

Of course you're not going to find THE BEST meat if you go when they already sold it, though you'll easily be able to find good one
