>The most common definition of continental Europe excludes continental islands, encompassing the Greek Islands, Cyprus, Malta, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, the Balearic Islands, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, and the Danish archipelago, as well as nearby oceanic islands, including the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Azores, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Svalbard.
hmm yes lads do continue. why do you think the term "continental europe" exists if it refers to surrounding islands as well? the term would be completely redundant and have the same definition as simply "europe"
Redpill me on oxfam lads. One of the gfs wants to work for them in South Sudan. Are théy funded by Soros?

Literally right fucking there mate. "Continental Europe" is just a term meaning the large landmass, that's not the technical definition of the European continent. By your definition Tasmania isn't part of the Australian continent because there's a bit of water and they call the large landmass the "mainland"

Pepper etymology
Old English piper, pipor, of West Germanic origin; related to Dutch peper and German Pfeffer ; via Latin from Greek peperi, from Sanskrit pippalī ‘berry, peppercorn’.
Vs.
Capsicum etymology
late 16th century: modern Latin, perhaps from Latin capsa

>The misleading name "pepper" was given by Europeans when Christopher Columbus brought the plant back to Europe. At that time, black pepper (peppercorns), from the unrelated plant Piper nigrum originating from India, was a highly prized condiment; the name "pepper" was at that time applied in Europe to all known spices with a hot and pungent taste and was therefore naturally extended to the newly discovered Capsicum genus.

Fascism was influenced by both left and right, conservative and anti-conservative, national and supranational, rational and anti-rational.[39] A number of historians regard fascism as either a revolutionary centrist doctrine, as a doctrine that mixes philosophies of the left and the right, or as both of those things.[40][41] Fascism was founded during World War I by Italian national syndicalists who drew upon left-wing and right-wing political views.

Working in a call centre is pretty hard desu. Not hard as in "you have to be intelligent" but you have to hate yourself to stay afloat.
They will work you relentlessly. There is absolutely no time to slack off. Every mouse click on your computer is monitored, collated, timed and analysed. Likewise for every phone call you make and they are, of course, all recorded and samples periodically audited.
If you don't take enough calls you will get in trouble. If you don't do ALL the necessary after-call work in the smallest amount of time (anything above ~5 minutes is deeply frowned upon) you will be in trouble. If you make too many outbound calls you will be in trouble. If you don't follow complaints procedure to the letter you will be in trouble.
And the turnover is constant. There will literally always, ALWAYS, be fresh meat coming through the door to be interview and later trained because people are always leaving the job in some form.
At least in the call centre where I work there just simply is not enough time in which to do the job properly and thoroughly. I also literally don't know enough information to make the right decisions because the training was so vague. In the end the result is that the customers get completely shafted in order for you to keep the job and keep treading water.
Everything you do is a careful exercise in making it look like you are a competent worker who cares and does the correct thing. I fob customers off on a daily basis and outright lie to them with information pulled from my arse so they will fuck off. When a customer refuses to fuck off it makes me hate them. Most of the customers you speak to are angry and expect you to care about their anger when you couldn't give less of a fuck.
You'll be exhausted and drained after every day and you're working for shit pay. You absolutely must hate yourself to do this work and do it to a standard whereby you avoid being fired.
I wonder if I'll make friends at the call centre?
I wonder if they'll be cool when I come out as trans in a year or so

I'm on a wage (~£16,750 before taxes). The benefits are my work are actually pretty decent but I don't really take advantage of them. We get a workplace pension as well which I have maxed out at 9% employer contribution. Reckon I will commit suicide before retirement age though.
>commission
Fortunately my income isn't commission based at all. Most of the call centres that are based on commission are outbound sales (and even then it's usually on top of a basic wage). The people who work outbound sales are literal psychopaths though.
little trick I learned when I worked in a call centre: if a hot girl talks to you that means she loves you so you should secretly film her taking a shit.
can't think of a more runtish job then working a call centre
i work in a supermarket and can relate to the not enough time to do your job properly thing
the managers are so ridiculously unrealistically demanding and pressurising because they don't hire enough staff that you only end up getting done about half of what you're asked to do throughout the day, the customer service suffers and the shop end up looking like a horrible mess most of the time because you're just throwing stock out as fast as possible
it's a fucking nightmare
little trick I learned when I worked as a prostitute: spinning motion with the tongue makes them cum faster

Worked in the credit control department of a builders merchant before, the job was literally phoning people and asking them why they hadn't paid for any of the shit we'd sent them and answering calls from the same people who wanted to know why we'd cut off their credit. Piss easy job, but all the people in the office were twats.

What are your monthly expenses? I'm the guy who has made most of the lengthy posts about call centres ITT.
My expenses are: rent to my mum, travel costs, food costs which totals to about ~£520/month. Then I put £400 in a savings account. Which leaves me ~£200 leftover to do whatever with (usually don't even spend it).

Yank call centers are exactly the same. God, this is triggering.
You won't remember the hundreds of averag/good calls or customers, you will always remember the two or three horrible customers.
The worst part is how they treated middle management. I had three managers: one quit before me, one asked to be demoted back down to taking calls, and the third was just an empty husk of a woman.

Definitely buy a train pass. You can get monthly tickets (I avoid 6-monthly tickets because I don't know if I will still be employed then).
But even with a monthly ticket I save £2/day on train tickets alone. If you get the train every day, there are back there is no reason whatsoever to not get a monthly pass / ticket.
You'll definitely have plenty money left over to spend. You should probably put some away for savings too.
