But nevermind, I was listening to a song and this lyric came up 「思い出さえ夢となり」. I tried searching for what 「なり」 means(not as a particle, because all the translations I've found take it as a form of the verb 「なる」. It yielded no results whatsoever. I did find though you can use it with 「に」 after, but in this sentence it was bare. Why? What difference is there between 「なる」 and 「なり」 and why can't I find anything on it? Am I really this dumb? Sorry for intruding. By the way, all the translations I've found go like "even memories turn out to be dreams" or really just "even memories turn to dreams". Sorry once again...
