Is this series a thing in any other countries (except Turks of course)? It's the hottest shit here, a shitton of normie girls and older women watch this.
>>70272691
didn't knew it existed and I usually download a shitload of TV series.
>>70272691
Whats with eastern european and adoring middle eastern popculture? I heard arash is also pretty popular there
>>70272691
Yes, national tv bought it 1-2 years ago I think. Now there are like 3 turkish tv series here
>>70272803
It's not about adoring (just look at our response to the migration crisis), I think its more due to the fact that we are closer to them than you. Also the Balkan was heavily turkicized which has some cultural effects on Hungary as well.
Though we hate Arabs, a lot of people have some unsaid fondness towards Turkey, it's because of the (heavily debated) kinship and the fact that they were quite honorable opponents during the centuries we warred them.
>>70272952
Same here, there is something called Sultana, but I know Suleiman better since my gf got hooked to it a few weeks ago and watches it a lot.
>>70272691
apparently its quite popular in southeast asia as well
just
Quite popular in south america. Turkish/arab series have flooded the market
>>70273137
But arash isnt even turkish yet its supposed to be pretty popular there
>>70272691
Of course your woman watch this show, they wish they were part of harems like they ancestors were
>>70274940
Are you for real? What about our soap operas?
>>70275440
Not really. Brazil makes a lot but maybe some are portugese and i don't know
Yeah what the fuck
Turk and korean soap operas get like all the screen time
>>70272691
It's a huge thing here. My mother watch this and I saw several episodes as well. It is really good as far as love serials go.
Ficbook (Russian analogue of fanfiction.net) is flooded with fanfics about Suleiman, written mostly by little girls who want big Turkish cock.
>>70272691
the funny thing is the show is most succesful in areas that were previously inside the ottoman empire
>>70276259
What is funny about watching your history?
>>70272691
Thats quite embarassing actually. Why would they do that?
>>70280029

>Cultural victory slowly creeping in
Yes gavur yes
>>70272691
same here, didnt know european can have a bad taste
>>70282816
fuck off chink
>>70272691
Is that really the best they could find for a handsome main character? A balding Bulgarian looking middle aged guy?
>>70282816
I really hate them too but I think we might be the second biggest tv series exporter after americucks. They are absurdly long, full of slow-motion shit and endless drama but I can't still believe how tv sector just exploded in recent years. I guess people, especially womyn and elders, other than northern americans and western europeans got sick of watching fake american shit.
>>70282952
Why did you assume that he should have been handsome or not balding? Sucked up too much Hollywood shit, cuck?
>>70282875
>>70282987
no offense to the turks but this series is as bad as generic k-drama.
filled with cringeworthy dialogue, garbage filler plot which adding up to historical inaccuracies, and general failure to live up ambitious kingdom atmosphere. they reduces suleyman into troubled mary sue character.
So whose your favourite character?
>>70272691
we are slowly propagandizing old ottoman territories with tv shows
soon you goyim will think that ottoman empire was the hottest shit ever
threadly fact: turkish shows are the second highest exported in the world
>>70283089
Süleyman's momma. Nebahat Çehre is an eternal gilf.
The only Turkish show I could stand was Ezel and I can't rips of it anywhere on the internet.
>>70282790
ottoman empire was based guvar.
>>70272691
It was aired here, but I don't think that it was as popular as some Latin American soap operas, especially Brazilian "Isaura" in the '80s. Traditional TV is a dying medium and rather only older people watch it.
>>70283068
>this series is as bad as generic k-drama
normies love that shit that's what they adored
>>70283068
this explains why many turkish girls are koreanboos
their taste are literally the same
>>70272691
ömm hől
>women secretly fantasize about being a king/sultan's favorite sex slave
color me surprised
>>70272691
My mother and sister literally just finished watching it over the break.
wtf happened that this begam such a icon for women?
>>70272691
Fucking kebab media flood, I tell you.

>>70272691
I've seen it in an airplane and loved it.
Kösem Sultan is amazing
>>70283975
Ottoman Empire was based stupid guvar, OTTOMANS GAVE BIRTH TO A CIVILIZATION!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDVyNNWNsj8
>>70283819
except in korean dramas people are inhumane fashion dolls so that's even better
>>70272691
This crap used to be very popular here. Folks literally worshiped it.
>6.5/10 on IMDb
Blimey...
>>70273137
Also Austria-Hungary liked the Ottomans when Serbia and friends started getting restless in the late 19th century
>>70272691
2ran cCc
>>70272691
What is it? Game of thrones for T*rkshits?
>>70272691
Latin American and Brazilian telenovelas
even though there is still that good old 50 seasons american show
>>70285875
Yeah kinda
>>70283068
But that's what normies love
>>70272691
I first saw the that drama in 4chan
Middle Eastern culture is not popular in Korea
Perhaps 99.999% of Koreans dont' know the that drama
beatiful
>Not watching Ertuğrul (father of Osman I.). It's the story of Turkic nomads of Anatolia.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDmPV2jt01k
Y'all faggots.
>>70272691
We have it too, they completely replaced mexican soap operas
>>70289432
Are there any shows placed in byzantine perio
its just soap operas
nothing to do with cultural fondness or whatever
were we culturally bonded with the south american ones too?
and yes women love it
>>70289776
not yet Hırvatbro.
>>70289924
Yeah, it's just a soap opera that can be sold cheaply to other countries
>>70272691
my parents watch this but as far as i know, it is a Telenovela
>One of the greatest Islamic caliphs and emperor is portrayed as a womanizer and fun loving faggot.
If Erdoğ*n has a little courage in himself he would've prevent this cancer reaching abroad. Fuckin idiots.
Latin American soap operas are more popular here, I haven't yet seen a prime time Turkish show.
> 90s: Cristal, Agujetas de color de rosa, Esmeralda, Pobre diabla
> 00s: Rubí, Pasión de gavilanes, Gata salvaje, Yo soy Betty la fea, Amarte así frijolito
Women can't get enough of the BLAC here.
>>70272691
Lol, it was pretty popular here. I think it's not aired here anymore tho. My half-jewish friend is unironically a Turkboo because of this
>>70291114
Suleiman was a mistake.
Mehmet II and Selim I were the last good bois
This series for women... Only soundtracks nice
Wild guess: are all the soap operas a gulen plot
>>70292829
>>70272691
Yes, it's a thing here. Across our 3-4 main channels, we have 3-4 Turkish TV series. Also one or two Indian. They have flooded us.
>>70272691
new one's teasers were good but boring as fuck. i don't watch it anymore. no war, no too many politics.

>>70295363
Well shit, at least we're not importing anything from India yet.
They did try airing a Korean costume drama but I think it flopped.
Who /AslaVazgeçmem/ here?
>>70296041
korean period dramas are very nice though, felt a lot like chinese kung fu movies but better setting
