I don't consider people by the pigmentation of their skin but their race (facial features, genetical features, skull...).

Caucasoid can be pretty dark (example India) or pretty white (example Ireland).

Also negroid can be white (albino) or completely black.

Mongoloids come also in many different skin tones from white to pretty dark but not necessarily black.

Indians, Europeans and Arabs have all different skin tones but they share facial and genetical features. Same goes to Indonesians and Japanese. They have different skin tones but share facial and genetical features.
