Because some people are born with physical or mental difficulties that make it a triumph to do the things the rest of us do every day.
>inb4 durr why don't they just start a business

Even when you're a success, someone who is more successful can fuck with you. Even if you're a millionaire, you can be completely broken by a hundred millionaire through frivolous lawsuits over the course of years on a whim.
Being successful doesn't suddenly imply security.
There are also problems with the third statement. It ignores environment. It is trivially obvious that between the generic black, hispanic, asian, and white, the black has a tremendously higher barrier of entry to success.
It is only possible to leave the ghetto by leaving the ghetto. They have a chicken and egg problem. It is literally impossible for them as a group to escape without dramatic change on a cultural level.
Although thanks mostly in part to government assistance in the form of Affirmative Action, once blacks cross the high barrier of entry into a university STEM program, they have already made it in life.
Other people failing can aid in your success, the less competition you have the better chance you have of attaining the position you want. Along with this, there are more people who want a position than there are positions that can be filled. In order to make an apple pie, you must first invent the universe. In order make a billion dollars, you must first exist within a civilization that can actually maintain such wealth, which requires the hard work of tens if not hundreds of millions of poor to middle class laborers. If all of these people were to try to advance their positions in life to their greatest hopes and dreams, no one at all would achieve their dreams because the system that can create those dreams ceases to exist.
Hard work and effort is valuable, but the world is not fair enough to give everyone what they truly deserve for how much blood, sweat, and tears they shed.

well 50% of businessmen's sucess is luck,
10% more is stating capital your dad can provide for you, and another 10% is a second starting capital your dad provides when you fuck up your first business
the rest 30% is education and connections that are also easyer to get when you have rich and well-connected dad
the second statement is more or less correct for many people, but not all

i think that's obvious - that the people being talked about are healthy.
Obviously if you have cerebral palsy no one is talking about you.
