With how many languages have died out in the 2000s alone - I think almost 50 - constructed languages are more important than ever for the preservation of linguistic diversity.
>>70232571
Is that sarcasm? O.o
>>70234021
Maybe "diversity" makes it sound bad. I just mean that languges come into being far too slowly naturally. Conlangs can fight against this.

Maybe people can form micronations and teach their languages to their kids.

As someone who's been continuously making languages all life since year 6, I can't stand quenya either.
Not because it's a bad language, but because all Anglo conlangers are inspired by it and produce languages that sound similarly, despite how rare, for instance, th-sounds are in the world. Good thing it doesn't have that Anglo-Chinese "r".

Quenya was made for beauty and dental fricatives are beautiful.
>>70234221
To an Anglo.
No, they sound like someone with teeth punched out.
>>70234663
but you can only make the sound when you have teeth

He's right. It's literally called a DENTAL fricative.
>>70235448
>>70234788
Oh, try to say "s" without the tip of your tongue approaching the teeth. That sounds similarly to th in "thin".
what's the most cohesive conlang out there?

What do you mean by this?
