I'm pretty sure that Germans don't have an animation scene like the French.
At least I've never heard of it

Only contemporary stuff I can think off is Die Schule der kleinen Vampire but it doesn't hold a candle to wakfu although it's cute.

Then you've got the old stuff like Nick Knatterton and Sandmännchen.

Not that germany lacks animation, but I guess the biggest problem is germany is relatively insular and a lot of stuff just doesn't reach the rest of the world.

He was fun, soloed a dragon, fought and successfully killed the main character while pursuing a plan that totally could've worked. Above average for sure.

Maybe I'm a little harsh on it, it's good for what it was. But when it's bad, it's really fucking bad, and usually for several eps in a row. I'm too old to put up with that shit.
