The big bridge has been deactivated since 1991, when train line between Aveiro and Viseu got cancelled, after 120 years of non stop service.

The village died a bit since then, so I'm told

It's really nice and pretty compared with most portuguese towns however, they keep building commieblocks all around. The corruption is high so no one gives a fuck about urbanism.

Our countryside could be beautiful but it's just plain depressing. Factories in the middle of the fields, houses almost tied to the highway, horrible roads, etc
