Well we eastern Bengalis were literally Buddhist and sheeit. We even had an Empire called the Pala Empire. Things were cool for a few centuries, then we were conquered by the Sena Empire. They were very pro-caste system muh Brahmin Hindus and treated the Buddhists like shit. The already Hindu Bengalis were fine all the way up to the short live Deva Dynasty. Still, the problem of the caste system still remained.

Then the Turkic Muslim invaders came along and conquered the area. At this point Sufis then entered and were able to win their hearts over to Islam. This mostly helped the low caste people and plus Islam was more of a progressive religion at the time so that won people over.

Now of course, the Islam that developed here is different then elsewhere I believe. Especially compared to Sudan. I've been reading more on you country and I understand and sympathize with you. I can understand why you're against Islam. And I can never hate you for it.
