nigga wtf
swimming is great, its fun and good exercise. It uses a lot of muscles but doesn't put strain on joints or anything. When I was a kid I used to like swimming to the bottom of pools, pushing my arms up to keep me at the bottom and see how long I could stay there. Pushing off the ground with my feet to quickly ascend when I needed to breathe.
I do, but I'm a breast stroke doggy paddler. Every time I attempt to freestyle, I end up going sideways.
I do.
But i prefer rivers/lakes instead of sea desu.
Im about to start swimming since i cant run or do anything fun like that because i have scoliosis. I cant also deadlift or squat and since im 188 cm i look like shit if not ripped. Im also crosseyed and ugly.
Fuck my genes
As a kid I used to be a pretty decent swimmer, and I used to enjoy it. But after not swimming for many many years, and after becoming relatively out of shape, I recently went swimming at a beach. I tried swimming in the deeper part to reach something that was relatively far away from the beach, but I then realized that swimming is physically much more tiring than from what I remembered, and I suddenly became somewhat scared because I was already tired and far away from the beach. I turned around and started heading back, but the tiredness was just killing me, I was already having a bit of a hard time keeping my head above water. After, I went on my back because my arms were too tired, but even then I kept getting water all over my face and was progressing painfully slowly. I kept looking to see if I was any closer, only to realize that I was still far away. To make things worse, I kept trying to stand on the sea floor to see if I was close enough that I could simply walk back, but of course I wasn't, so I would just end up wasting precious energy and being submerged for a second or two. When I finally made it, I was exhausted to death and sweating like a pig.
Ever since then I've been afraid of swimming in deep water (except in indoor swimming pools because there you're always close to the edge).
