Doesn't it feel uncomfortable? I mean your feet start sweating after a while.
Why not just use these?

That's what we also do here, but I saw on multiple occasions people wearing them inside. It just seems really uncomfortable, especially in the summer
No money for carpets?

Usually if someone is wearing shoes in your house its a guest whos just stopping by to bullshit and you didn't say anything about them wearing shoes on your carpet. It differs from family to family.

>Why do Americans wear shoes in their own house?
to make them look taller
Not all the time, there's a bit of cultural nuance. you follow the the lead of the host and remove your shoes at the door if they're removing theirs. If you're not sure and they don't tell you to remove the when you come in I always ask if I should remove my shoes. If they have clean carpeted floors 90% of the tie I remove my shoes.

Here everyone removes their shoes and host asks if you want fuzzy slippers depending on if it's cold. (Everyone has like 5 or 6 pairs)
>>70036644
too lazy to remove them
>>70036644
We do this too.
>>70038745
That's a good idea, to keep extra slippers for guests to wear. Thanks Serb bro. I'll add cheap slippers for guest to my shopping list.

No problem. Please don't bomb us again.
>have some American family friends come over
>they keep their shoes on

In the 90's? I was a wee lad watching the pokemans and dragon balls and sailors of moons.
We tried to vote Bernie in so we could stop such things but they rigged the election in favor of more Clinton government.
