Real empty wilderness is Canada. I don't think even Russia compares to how absolutely fuckhuge and empty Canada is.

There's thousands and thousands of kilometer habitable areas there with simply no humans.

There's book from 90s called 'Hatchet' where American plane crashes in Canadian wilderness and he gets fucked by huge mosquitoes every day. literal nightmare fuel

Look at the fucking map. Our population is more concetrated than Canadian one. In Moscow and its suburbs alone live 20mln people. Empty elderness is simply bigger than canadian one.
>>
>>70030767
>>70030847
You're joking right? You're not actually both this retarded?
>>
>>70030871
Look. Basic math, I know you had it in America. We take 9mln sq km of Canada and populate 1 of these 9mln with whole canadian population, mmkay? So now we have 8mln of wilderness and 30/9 approximetely 3 per./sq.km. Now, we take 17mln sq km of Russia, populate 5mln of these 17 with 145mln of russians and now we have that in Russia populated area is 5 times bugger but wildernes is still bigger since it's 12mln sq km in size and population density is 140/7 is approximately 8-it is higher in Canada and these people live on bigger land than Canada but wilderness that is left is still bigger and all of that can be clearly seen on that map>>70030703 where white space has the same population density in Canada and in Russia and in russia it is bigger.
>>
>>70030964
Now, my genius Russian friend, use this basic math to calculate the population density of Canada and Russia.
Which country has lower population density?
Spoiler alert: It's Canada
>>
>>70031012
And that doesn't mean Canada has more empty lands since population in Russia is more concetrated. I mean will you argue with map? Can't you understand that this white land there has the same density in both Canada and Russia?
>>
>>70031075
Lots of Russia's empty space is useful, though. It has tons of natural resources.

It's not. I know that because of pol influence 4chan has become pretty conservative, but you do not realize how does it works in reality. We are becoming orthodox Iran. Government has built the huge mosque recently, they fund religious orthodox channel in the TV, church is given former museums and even former catholic temples. This summer some retarded mullah supported the female genital mutilation in remoted mountain areas in Dagestan (actually no one is practicing it among Russian muslims except few retarded villages), than many orthodox priests supported him. Edecutional level is falling significantly, science is in shit. You can go to the prison for blasphemy and many people go. Last year they imprisoned guy who said that people who swim in the gaps in the ice (orthodox ritual symbolizing baptizing of Jesus, 19th January) are morons. Church is spewing shit towards everything modern, patriarch recently announced that ideas of humanism are evil, that you should be obedient to God and the West would be punished for putting a human in a first place.
Shit, I never understood why don't conservatives in the West just move to Saudi Arabia and enjoy 100% traditionalism.

Oh, you mean 80's-90's. No, just regular poverty and lack of jobs were pushing the youth towards drugs. Nothing unique here.
>>
>>70034782
This. People just mostly buy fuel on the cheapest gas stations here and then complain.
>>
>>70034671
This, 90s were a huge mistake. Actually all that started with Peter the Cuck who westernized the state and aristocracy massively. After that they treat ordinary Russians as subhumans and Russia has become a colonial empire where Russians were exploited by a thin European class, who spoke French and often were not Russians even ethnically - Germans, Frenchmen, etc. And we acquired a schizophrenia - some people feel themselves European because of this aristocracy and their culture (for example, our 19th century writers were the best - but they fully belonged to that culture), and some people (actually majority) hates the west and Europe. Add here the whole process of westernization we face worldwide with all that pop culture, Hollywood, internet and games and you see us in a very difficult position.

Millions of Chinese. By 2020 Siberia would have Chinese majority.

It seems like democracy and Capitalism aren't for everyone. Some nations inevitably turn it into totalitarianism.

>>70034806
There was plenty of poverty under Stalin though. Were less people on drugs then just because the government was harsher?

>>70034681
This. Moreover, HIV rate is rising because of it, people are becoming ignorant. Putin is a twin brother of Erdogan, remember.

The flow of opiates went to the Soviet Union after the invasion of Afghanistan. The warlords of the Mujahideen were selling heroin to have money for the war. In addition, it reduced the morale of military and civil population of the USSR. In 1985, Prohibition began and many drinkers switched to heroin.

>Some nations inevitably turn it into totalitarianism.
We sure did. Imo the US lost its greatness after WWI
>>
>>70034868
Not sure. China now is more wealthy than Russia, average salary there is 700$, life quality is higher. What the point in moving to Russia from China now?>>70034892
Capitalism is for everyone, there are no non capitalist countries in the world now. It's inevitable stage in a path if humanity.
>democracy
Is a meme, in the west rich people still rule country, just implicitly unlike in lost of the world where it's explicit.
>There was plenty of poverty under Stalin though. Were less people on drugs then just because the government was harsher?
Actually you're wrong, life quality under Stalin skyrocketed, that's why majority of Russians loves him despite repressions. He has built industry, created jobs, tons of people moved to the city from villages.

Now in Siberia more than Tajiks and Uzbeks than Chinese. If I see a Chinese street that he is a student or tourist.
However, there is lack of native Asians.

It's not. These people were Europeans who made our ancestors a stakes in gambling, raped and killed them at whim, robbed them and sold our resources to the West, while speaking French in a daily life and having surnames like Kuhelbeker.

I obviously meant the bit where it's less than 1 person/km on the map

I do not see differences from the modern russian "elite"
We ship shillion tons of oil and other resources to buy a yacht for the oligarchs.

Your ancestor sold like nigger, are you proud of that?
300 years of slavery. It is not surprising that Russian so cuked
>>
>>70035574
It's a thread about Siberia, duh. We didn't have this kind of serfdom, so fuck off from my ancestor and go be whiny self-hater somewhere else.

Also every european country had serfdom and it was much longer than 300 years.

I should visit your country again sometimes. I liked everything except some seafood restaurant that served freshly caught mussels (was located right near the place where they farm em) and made me vomit for half a night. Maybe seafood just isn't my thing.
