Fast Stream has 1000 jobs/year for 100,000 applicants. Those who get on it and don't retard themselves out of it are made Grade 7s in 4 years. That's the sole purpose of it, so they don't have to promote the mongs like me internally into positions of responsibility.

Starting salary is 28k, rising to 40ish by the time you complete the programme. Then two third of them fuck off to the private sector so they stat all over again with the next batch.

It's the way they ask the questions and what they make you focus on, you have to constantly tick about 9 different boxes in all your answers and the information they give you is far, far too much to read in the allotted time, so it's basically a cluster fuck.

Sure, for the behavioural questionnaire I just wrote down their ten competencies beside me and just picked three or four that I would consistently say represent me.

Then basically I just made a list of which ones I said I am and which ones I'm not and consistently put them in.

I don't know how it works but I think the idea is that you consistently choose the same type of competencies rather than a mishmash of them all, so it looks like you're being truthful and actually representing yourself.

No idea if that's how it works but last time I did it I tried to space it out as being good at everything and failed.

Again with the E-tray, I just kept at the back of my mind the competencies and always thought about value for money, building relationships, seeing the bigger picture etc.

Yeah, I have to say that although I left absolutely knackered I genuinely really enjoy it, it was really challenging but also felt like I was actually testing my skills instead of just trying to get hired.

That won't happen, nothing at the assessment centre tests anything about your personal background or work experience. Nobody who tests you knows who you are, what you've applied for, what schemes you're still in for or what work you've done. It's all based off them tests, and they're all the same for everybody.

You will be in the same group as people on all the different schemes.
