I lived in the U.S. for a couple of years, a year in Houston. I can say that Texas is definitely the most American state.
The pro-freedom approach to laws and legislation, their huge economy, relatively conservative population, guns, gas, how cheap everything is while there are countless well paying jobs available.

Nature is pretty harsh with disasters and heat waves but other than that; 10/10 would settle down.
