Always find it weird when Scots refer to themselves as British, feels like the English have a monopoly of what is or isn't British and Scots are just their own thing. Is this true to an extent? I wouldn't look at the Highland Games and think "that's very British", but i do look at those guards in the big hats and think it's a very British thing.
