It's not fast when you understand, because the words in Italian are longer than in English (so more syllables are said quickly, to deliver the concepts at a similar pace).

See how basic one-syllable words are convertef into Italian:

Bird --> uccello
Look --> osservazione
Ear --> orecchio
Floor --> pavimento
Yield --> raccolto
Word --> parola

For sure they're not going to deliver each syllable as slowly as the English, otherwise it would be three times longer to communicate the same ideas.

Turn any "-ity" noun in English into Italian using "-ita"
Example: city - citta (stress goes on the last vowel, always)
To make it French, it's "-ite", not "-ita"
Example: city - cite (stress on the last vowel)

Nouns that end in "-y", usually have an intuitive ending in Italian: "-io" or "ia", if feminine
Example: "Anomaly" - "Anomalia", "Story" - "Storia", "Ordinary" - "Ordinario", "Vocabulary" - "Vocabulario"

Turn English verbs into Italian ones by adding "-are"/"-ere"/"-ire" as a suffix:

The three endings written above are usually "ear-friendly". You will know if you've appended the wrong suffix:

Want to turn a verb into a noun? Add the definite article onto it. For example the masculine form:
