Is it going to be the next super power?

hopefully not
latin america is not ready for this... it will become a globalist kike tool like the EU, except in less time

It is going down with us. I hope those guys can handle the "Tequila Effect".

They've probably been shielding themselves since Trump won the election and our economies aren't that intertwined things should really get bad for them. Their concern would be mostly on Trump fucking things up with China badly and starting a global recession which will hit commodity prices and wipe investment on emerging markets.
That's the real nightmare scenario, even for us, we might still be able to save our country from recession if Trump is somewhat reasonable (eg paying for the wall is handled through some tax on remittances, renegotiating NAFTA is a tit for tat on choice industries) as unlikely as it seems whenever he goes full retard on twitter, if he messes with China tho EVERYONE will suffer.

>if he messes with China tho EVERYONE will suffer
But most of all... the Chinese, who are already doing everything they can to avoid financial catastrophe.

china would just push forward a pan-asian/latin american trade bloc since trump fucked himself hard by cancelling TPP.
if anything america would just miss out on trade while developing countries in the pacific regions developing stronger industries.

Will Trump keep his word on cancelling the TPP though? I think we'll just have to wait and see.

I don't know man, the original tequila effect happened with economies that weren't intertwined at all. It happen because after the Mexican Peso Crisis foreign investors not only fled Mexico but emerging markets in general, and the crisis led to financial contagion throughout other financial markets in Asia and Latin America. Foreign investors are fleding Mexico again, and they are emerging markets, with Mexico being the biggest by far from that bloc... and now our economies are somewhat intertwined, so I don't know. I hope those guys don't get hit as hard.

>Trump is somewhat reasonable
You are too much hopeful.

yeah first like 90 days.
congress is pro-TPP since it was a bush-era document republicans started, but they don't give a shit if it means power.
