It depends. Mostly Russians do coz Chinese, Koreans and Japanese certainly are not European. But if Russian as European as Western Europeans are? Don't know (in philosophic terms). In ethnic Slavs from Europe, so obviously we not Asians as racial, only geographically.

It's major Russian port in Asia and navy base. In Trade issue Moscow trade directly to Guanzhou, so the siberian railway (which is outdated pretty much) sucks.
In 90's here people buy japanese cars and sell it in west Russia.
This particular region (all Far East) in bad situation. Russia in crisis, China can buy everything and make it in polluted wasteland. People moving in Central Russia. Cost of living in something more than in Moscow, but infrastructure worse.
Also on OP's pic there new University. That and Navy make fell that Moscow want to keep it.
It's geographically one of the southerns parts of Russia and here's cold as in St.Petersburg.

Since China can send their good thru Kazakhstan or Chita City in Siberia... or on plane in Moscow. We can do small trade with Korea, Japan.

Koreans may be Methodists or Baptists (etc). Russians as well. Met very often Russian Jehovah witnesses and American Mormons missionaries.
