Everything. First of all, looking at cp isn't illegal, and so sites hosting the stuff shouldn't be censored. Second, because there's nothing wrong with cp as long as you're not producing it, or monetarily supporting its production. Third, because their criteria for censoring "cp sites" is arbitrary as fuck, and most censored sites don't host or even link to the stuff. I've proxied through a couple of blocks myself, and it's always been some low quality lolicon stuff.

i'm against it because you can't reasonably assume those children were asked for consent to be pictured or taken videos of and uploaded to the internet. if one of them gave consent as an adult, i wouldn't care.

Go find a site that's blocked - only ones that can easily found by search engines are likely to be, bypass the filter and see for yourself what kind of material they host. That's another issue, the filtering is completely ineffectual, so police devoting any resources to filtering sites is a complete waste.

1) A big portion of the material on the internet is ancient, made during a time when producing CP was legal, in countries such as Netherlands or Japan. Or still is legal.
2) Another large producer of CP are the children themselves, who video themselves and put it up on the internet.
3) The rest of the material made will be made regardless, either because a) the people making it aren't interested in money, or b) the few people that are willing to break the law to fund the production are making it worthwhile.

Let's say that a guy goes on the internet, finds a webcam video a horny 13 year old girl voluntarily put on the net, downloads the video and has the guiltiest fap of his life. That guy, per current laws, is a criminal. Yet whose rights has he actually violated? What kind of a benefit would the society get from punishing the guy?

All laws must be enacted to fix an existing problem. Pedos fapping to pictures on the internet is not a problem.
