It means his team lost that time. Only the people that lose end up complaining about it.
>tfw everyone is biased as fuck about politics

Lefties are so desperate. Do they expect politicians not to partake in politics at all as a protest against the electoral college? Should UKIP and the British Green Party disband in protest against first-past-the-post?

It didn't used to be like this, though. A previous attempt to abolish the electoral college in Congress met with opposition from both sides of the aisle on the grounds that Republicans and Democrats from smaller states didn't want to be rendered irrelevant. Nowadays, Democrats don't give a shit about their states so long as they have a friend in the White House.

I think he means that he isn't a fan of the electoral college, but at the same time recognizes he needs to play by the rules of it.
Perhaps if the Electoral College did not exist we would see a much different campaign approach.

Yeah, Democrats would be free to say things like "Outside of Philly, Pennsylvania can go fuck itself." and "Die in a fire, South Dakota."

I meant Trump would have a radically different approach as well.
So really it's quite silly to bring up things he's said like half a decade ago.
