people might have problems with proclamations with certain deity but beyond that an overoptimistic outlook or supernatural explanation is deeply ingrained in all cultures, if we were entirely logical we wouldn't worry about things outside of our control but we do and frequently, religion may have died but the experience of human existence tell us whatever made religion is still very much alive, technically climate change is kind of among other things
